DIY 15 MINUTE PILLOW FROM PLACEMATS

Make this cute pillow in just 15 minutes using two placemats and some poly-fil!

Finished Christmas pillow made from placemats from the Target Dollar Spot

This week I am participating in Craft Lightning where a group of bloggers are rounding up Christmas crafts you can make in 15 minutes or less. I am excited to show you how easy it is to make this cute pillowcase. With some quick sewing you will have the cutest Christmas pillow to add to your home decor. You could do this with any two place mats you find that are the same size. I got mine from the Target dollar spot section.

Target Dollar Spot Placemats

Materials:

2 placemats with finished edges ( I got mine in the Target dollar spot)
Poly-fil Stuffing
Sewing machine & white thread
Wonderclips or Pins

First use either pins or the clips to secure the two place mats, wrong sides together on three sides, leaving one side open to fill with stuffing.

Sew around the three sides right along the existing seam.

Use the poly-fil to stuff your pillow.

Clip the final edge and sew shut, again sewing along the existing seam.

Now you have a cute little pillow for your Christmas decorations!

Even the back of the pillow is darling.

Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below.

These cute Christmas pillows only take 15 minutes to make and start with placemats.
