EASY PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE BARS

These peanut butter fudge bars are decadent and delightful. Use peanut butter cookie dough mix with the homemade fudge to make them easy to put together.

Sometimes I make recipes and then life gets busy and I forget to put them on blog. Whoops. I was looking through my camera roll and saw these beauties and had to get them up. They are the best combination of chocolate and peanut butter. The fudge is so easy to make on the stove and with peanut butter mixes as the cookie dough base they are a breeze to make. They are super rich though, so if you make them you will want to share. I think the square could be cut even smaller honestly and you would satisfy your sweet tooth with one square.

Easy Peanut Butter Fudge Cookie Bars

Peanut Butter Cookies-
2 17.5 oz. peanut butter cookie mix + ingredients to make it

Fudge-
1  can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
2 tablespoons butter
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9 x 13 baking pan with parchment paper. Spray with nonstick baking spray. Make cookie dough according to package directions. Spread half of it on the bottom of the pan.

Add the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips and butter to a pan. Cook over medium heat until all ingredients are melted and combined. Add vanilla. Pour the fudge over the first layer of peanut butter cookie dough and spread evenly with a spatula.

Drop flattened pieces of remaining cookie dough over fudge layer.  Don’t worry about having some spot of the fudge layer showing through. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until LIGHT golden brown. Don’t overbake! Allow to cool and cut into squares to serve. Enjoy!
